Where to Buy Sneaker Proxies

Last Updated on November 29, 2023

Now to 99% of the population, this concept is going to sound a little bizarre but it does illustrate the relevance of proxies today.  The term sneaker proxies doesn’t refer to some super, stealthy configuration of a proxy server more to the role they perform.    However before we explain what they actually are and their purpose then we first need a little background.

Where to Buy Sneaker Proxies

This is all about the latest fashion, and more specifically the latest sneakers (perhaps known as trainers outside the USA).  Now in my day, if you wanted the trendiest trainers you’d wait for their release and pop down to the sports shop and buy them.  Of course life is much more complicated nowadays and there’s actually a selection of limited edition sneakers that are very much in demand but extremely difficult to obtain.  What happens is the manufacturer releases a limited amounts of these and they do so in a very specific way to maintain demand.

  • Manufacturer Releases Limited Edition Sneakers to Retailers
  • Middle Men normally receive them.
  • These are sold online to customers

This sounds simple but unfortunately, the demand is extremely high globally and the manufacturers only release a very small number of the sneakers.   It’s actually a  crazy market and it’s incredibly difficult to obtain even a single pair of these sneakers if you play the game by the book.  Basically even if you wait for notification and then instantly visit one of these sneaker websites you’d have to be incredibly lucky to pick up even single pair.  It’s so incredibly difficult to pick these up a whole sub industry has been created with supporting technology to obtain them.   So here’s what you need and why using sneaker proxies is an important component of this struggle.

The Key to Success and Where to Buy Sneaker Proxies

So if  you just play the game, it’s pretty unlikely you’re going to grab any of these rare sneaker releases.  So if you’re desperate for the latest fashion or perhaps just want to make a few bucks selling them on at a profit then they’re are methods to drastically improve your chances of getting many pairs.    All of these releases are generally sold online from various sneaker specialist retailers, however just hoping to click and buy isn’t going to work.

So what do you need? How can you grab a few or even lots of sneakers? Well ideally there’s three components you need to pretty much guarantee at least a few pairs.

A dedicated server : now if you just after a couple of pairs for your self, then this step is arguably not necessary.  However if you’re in it for business and want to maximise return it’s a wise investment.  Sneaker servers are simply dedicated web servers ideally situated  to the datacentres of the companies like Nike, Supreme, Footsite and Shopify who offer these sneakers.  You use these to host the next stage, the Bots and automated software explained below.

Sneaker Bots – there are a lot of these and it’s best to do your research on what’s working best at any point in time. Some of the Bots work best with specific sites, but they all work in a similar way.  It’s automated software which can keep applying for specified sneakers without a human having to sit there for hours pressing the buy button.  You can configure the software to mimic human behaviour with infinite patience – applying for these sneakers day and night when they’re released.  You can run these bots on your PC or laptop with a fast connection although they’re more efficient on dedicated servers.

Sneaker Proxies

Now this is arguably the most crucial, and often mostly forgotten step if you’re going to become a sneaker baron.  Automated software is great for sitting there gradually trying to fill up shopping baskets with the latest sneakers however if you try it they get banned pretty quickly.   What happens is that the  retail sites quickly detect these multiple applications because they’re all coming from the same IP address of either your server or your computer.   As soon as it happens, and it will very quickly, they block the IP address and any request from there will be ignored – game over I’m afraid.

The Proxy is the Key

If you don’t get the proxy stage correct then all the rest will be pointless expense and effort.  So what makes a proper sneaker proxy? Well there’s obviously tons of free proxies around on the internet, and free is definitely good. However it’s pointless using these and indeed extremely risky.

Free proxies are a combination of misconfigured servers, that is accidentally left open which people jump on and use. The others are hacked or taken over servers deliberately left open so identity thieves can use them to steal usernames, accounts and passwords. Given that you will need at some point to pay for these sneakers using some sort of credit or debit card using free proxies to transmit your financial details is utter madness – don’t do it.

Even if you do happen to pick a safe proxy which some dozy network administrator has left open, there’s still little point. Firstly they are going to be slow which means however fast your computer or sneaker server is, your applications will run at a snail’s pace. You’re unlikely to be successful with a slow connection and often you’ll see the bot timing out. The second issue is that there is a crucial component to the proxy which you’ll need to be successful and virtually no free proxies will have these – a residential IP address.

Many commercial websites now are well aware of people using proxies and VPNs to bypass geoblocks or run automated software. They find it difficult to detect these programs but there’s a simple method which blocks 90% of people who try – they ban connections from commercial IP addresses. Residential IP addresses are only allocated to home users from ISPs and so it’s extremely difficult to get lots of them. Virtually all proxies and VPNs available to hire are assigned with commercial IP addresses, these are not effective as sneaker proxies at all.

Sneaker proxies are different, they use residential IP addresses which look identical to home users and will be allowed access to virtually all websites. Obviously you still have to be careful with multiple connections but the companies who provide these usually offer something called rotating backconnect configurations which switch both configurations and IP addresses automatically.  These are able to simulate rotating proxies which is much cheaper than buying dedicated residential proxies which can get extremely expensive.

Anyone who is successful in this area will use sneaker proxies with residential IP addresses – see below for one of the oldest established suppliers.
